Here at Happy Leaf, we are proud to be at the front of the movement to bring access to cannabis. We’ve helped with access and education for a number of years and support the movements to show that cannabis is an effective drug to treat certain conditions. Yes, due to the fact that Oregon allows medical and recreational use, we sell medical and recreational marijuana. Of course, these aren’t necessarily different products. Marijuana can be taken for recreation or medical use depending on your preference, and we can help you to get the right THC levels. Â
What do I need to purchase from your dispensary?
To buy cannabis in Oregon, you must present a valid government-issued ID showing you are 21 or older. Acceptable IDs include:
- Any U.S. state driver’s license or ID
- Passport
- Military ID
Medical patients must also provide a current OMMP card.

Does insurance cover medical marijuana in Oregon?
Unfortunately, no. Insurance companies cannot cover cannabis because federal law still classifies marijuana as illegal, even though it’s legal in Oregon.
